Jai Jinendra, Heartiest Congratulations to all JSNT members!!!
Closing for new facility was performed yesterday on the
auspicious day of "Vasant Panchmi" and JSNT is the proud owner of the
facility at 11321 Webb Chappell Road. This milestone was achieved by
your support along with dedication & hard work of the Fund Raising
Committee, Temple Committee and the Board members.
Once again, I thank all of you for your support and looking forward to joyous celebrations as we move in the new facility.
2009 has been exciting year for our society and it's invigorating
that we managed this economically difficult year & accomplished key
goals. It's easy to do well when the economy is strong, but it takes a
really good team to be successful during struggling economy. Throughout
2009, we've made stable progress and in 2010 we have achieved the first
big step. As the saying goes, "A journey of thousand miles begins with
a single step". We have set high expectations in 2010 and we want to
make our society to be best-in-class with more volunteers to
organize multi-purpose events and activities.
We have a lot to accomplish this year and for years to come, so we anticipate continued assistance and teamwork going forward.
Again, my Heartiest CONGRATULATIONS to you all,. without your support this achievement would not have been possible.
Sincerely,
Erine Shah

Dear Members, In
order for us to compare the cost, area, usage, expansion and other
variables, between constructing a new facility vs buying the existing
BAPS facility, we have attached three documents for your viewing. After much deliberation in the past two months and 31st October meeting with Dr. Vinay Jain, the
Fund Raising Committee, Temple Construction Committee and the Board
members, have arrived at the opinion that given our
financial situation and keeping the future needs of the society in
mind, the best thing for the society is to proceed to acquire the BAPS
facility. Should you have any questions pertaining to the documents, please email president@dfwjains.org. We would like to encourage all
members to go through the documents and please email your questions as
soon as possible. We will try to address your question immediately as
well as post the questions in the FAQ section on our website (dfwjains.org). Rest assure only
the Questions and Answers will be posted on the website. No other
personal information shall be shared. This would help on the day of the
town hall meeting, so that we can objectively make a decision for the
best of our society and do orderly voting for the facility. The documents are: 1) Garland_Center_2009.doc2) BAPS_Facility_Information_2009.doc3) JSNT_FACILITY_COMPARISON.xlsAgain,
we would like to request all the members to please go through the
documents and we encourage all members to email your questions as soon
as possible. Therefore the voting discussion, update in the TOWN HALL
meeting can go smoothly. Thank you, JSNT Board

To: The Members of the Jain Society of North Texas (JSNT)From: The Board of JSNT- August 15, 2008
Dear Members:
This is an important update to our recent brochure that was mailed to
you summarizing our construction plans for the common hall and also the
associated fund raising plans. Based on your feedback please note WE
HAVE ABANDONED THE PLANS FOR BOLIS; INSTEAD, THE AMOUNTS LISTED IN THE
BROCHURES FOR EACH NAMING OPPORTUNITY ARE NOW FIXED. Additionally, the
fund raising committee chaired by Dr. Dhiren Shah has adopted certain
rules for convenience that are as follows:
1. Only one family
or individual is allowed per naming opportunity, with the exception of
Bhoomi Poojan. We anticipate multiple participant- donors for the
Bhoomi Poojan. Their names shall be imprinted on one common plaque
specifically designated for Bhoomi Poojan. Otherwise, for the rest of
the naming opportunities there will be one donor for each naming right.
But, each donor can avail of multiple naming opportunities by donating
respective amounts.
2. If any of you have made unspecified
contribution(s) or commitments for this project without regard to any
specific naming opportunity, and are now interested in donating for any
of the naming right(s), the unspecified contribution shall be counted
towards the total amount due for the naming right(s). For example, many
of you have already paid or committed for your fair share contribution
of $6000.00. If you were to avail of no specific naming opportunities
then your names shall be listed on a common plaque. However, if you
decide to avail of the specific naming opportunities, then the amount
of $6,000 shall apply appropriately towards your total amount due for
the naming right(s), and your name shall not be listed on the common
plaque.
3. The large donors do not need to feel constrained
by the amounts designated for the listed naming rights in our brochure.
The fund raising committee shall be more than happy to customize the
opportunity for them for larger amounts.
4. Since the time is
of the essence, if sufficient commitments of donations are not received
within the reasonable period of time the chairman and committee shall
have the discretion to modify these rules for specific donors as
necessary.
PLEASE NOTE THE NAMING RIGHTS ARE AWARDED ON A
FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. SO, IN ORDER TO PLEDGE YOUR DONATION FOR
ANY SPECIFIC NAMING RIGHT(S), PLEASE HURRY UP AND CALL MEERA JAIN BY
MIDNIGHT AUGUST 25, 2008 AT 972-867-7609 or 972-890-3061 or email at
meerajaindallas@gmail.com. Thank you, Sincerely, /Meera Jain (President - On behalf of the JSNT Board)
